3.6 How can we achieve current OAC standards by Grade 12 for university-bound students?

a) Issues

Students heading towards science programs at the university level must graduate with the same science qualifications as those presently offered in the science OAC courses.

b) Solutions and rationale

In the model presented in subsection 3.7, this would be accomplished by offering enough subject specific electives to meet the requirements of any year-one university science or science-related course.
