ARTICLE VIII:
Meetings
8.1 Annual Meeting
of the membership
- 8.1.1 Members
will be given at least two months advance notice of date, time and
location of the Annual Meeting. This will be done by placing a notice
in the Crucible or by mailing notification of the Annual Meeting to
each member.
- 8.1.2 The Annual
Meeting will be held in conjunction with a conference during years
where a conference is held. In years during which there is no conference,
the Annual Meeting shall be held in conjunction with a meeting of
the STAO Board of Directors.
- 8.1.3 The President
or his/her designate shall chair the Annual Meeting.
8.2 Meeting of the
Board of Directors
- 8.2.1 The meetings
of the Board of Directors will be held at the call of the President,
who will be the Chair for the meeting.
- 8.2.2Adequate
notice of meetings of the Board of Directors shall be given by the
President.
- 8.3 Committee
Meetings
- 8.3.1 Meetings
of all committees are held at the call of the Chair.
- 8.3.2 Minutes
of all meetings shall be forwarded to the STAO/APSO Secretary.
- 8.3.3 Committees
have authority over matters included in the terms of reference for
that committee. Committees do not have the authority to make policy
for STAO/APSO but may forward recommendations to the Executive for
action.
